Creative Director

Sheila heads up the Creative, Content and Strategy teams, bridging thoughtful brand strategy with killer creative execution. Sheila has 20+ years of experience in creative + marketing, building strong brands steeped in data-driven decisions. Sheila is passionate about truly understanding the customer’s wants and needs and she prioritizes creating rich emotional connections with the brands we build. She comes from both in-house + agency life with focuses in branding and digital design. Sheila is also an avid plant-smither, traditional artist and crazy cat lady.

Allison Rynak

Allison Rynak

Director, Marketing Communications

Allison oversees the Marketing Communications team, helping to deliver creative and compelling PR strategies, business development communications and tailored campaigns for clients, residents and internal teams. Allison has more than 20 years of communications and PR experience, both agency and in-house, spanning a wide range of B2C and B2B verticals from technology to online gaming. Among Allison’s favorite things are dogs, coffee, the beach, chocolate, word games and having a clean car. She can be found on any given weekend at rinks around New England watching her son and daughter play hockey.

Director of Marketing Operations

Flor leads the financial planning and project management teams and has 10+ years of experience in technology, marketing and project management. She leads complex strategic and marketing programs on time and on budget, focusing on the right approach to achieve business goals and deliver quality work. She has delved into various team structural models, all focusing on operations, innovation and agility. Flor is an avid book reader and globe-trotter with a love for solving problems and winning in scrabble.

Sr. Graphic Designer

Jonathan is passionate about creativity with 15+ years of experience in branding and web design. His concept driven design approach, helps to develop visual identities that encompass the essence of their brand. His specialty is focusing on each individual client's unique needs and creating a lasting impression on their desired target audience. Jonathan is also a huge sports nut (Go Suns!), and a foodie with a passion for dining out and also creating something delicious in the kitchen.

Sr. Graphic Designer

Emma has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and Graphic Design and has five years of experience with branding and design for internal and external agencies. Her passion for branding and logo design and keen hand for details allows her to break outside the box to develop unique and creative designs that speak directly to their audience. Emma continues her creativity after hours as well! She enjoys designing t-shirts and logos for her peers and baking up a storm in the kitchen.

Kyleigh Wentworth

Sr. Graphic Designer

Kyleigh joined the Creative Services team following a three year stint as a freelancer working with Greystar (and many other multi-family companies). She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and has over eight years of experience—between freelance and agency—designing for multi-family developments. Kyleigh has an eye for detail, delights in anything and everything design, and loves to get her hands dirty developing processes that drive efficiency. In her free time, Kyleigh designs even more! She is an enamel pin designer and manages her own Etsy shop, a book cover designer who also loves to read, and an avid farmer… in Stardew Valley.

Having helped lay the foundation for student marketing over 10 years ago, Kassey offers a unique perspective and holistic approach to design and the creative process. With a pulse on the ever-changing student market, Kassey pushes the envelope through conscientious design and process innovation. Her candid attitude and genuine curiosity help drive collaboration and engagement within her team. Her video and motion graphics expertise abounds the collective offerings of Creative Services. Kassey loves the outdoors, crocheting, and corn. She maintains that Indiana’s sweet corn is the best, and welcomes any challenger, Midwestern and beyond.

Marissa Groom

Marissa Groom

Sr. Graphic Designer

Marissa designs brands and publications, with 10+ years of experience in the marketing and design fields. She loves utilizing historical research and illustrative styling to develop brands rooted in community and brought alive by unique iconography and pattern-work. Marissa comes from the nonprofit museum world, and her work has promoted marquee exhibits and cultural events to all ages, for multiple museums throughout the southwest. Her experience with large format design, print work and exhibit branding has beautifully transferred to the multi-family industry, where she is able to empathetically envision how people move and interact within a branded space. Marissa spends her time on long walks with her dog, drawing, CIV6, building complex LEGO models, and playing tabletop card games. Regardless of medium, she loves a good puzzle.

Gretchen drives the Creative Services team to success with her eye for brand detail, cohesion, functionality, and beauty. She's earned a Bachelor of Science in Multimedia Design and Development and has over eight years of experience in design. Gretchen is passionate about creating a brand storyline and creating pieces that flow together seamlessly. She even enjoys being creative in her spare time - often crafting something new and baking up sweet treats. You may also find her spoiling her new fur-baby Clyde.

Copywriter

Ilissa is an accomplished copywriter, content strategist, and marketing maven driven by her passion for innovative storytelling. With a BBA in Marketing, multiple industry-related certifications, and 8 years of experience as a writer, she creates captivating narratives for multifamily brands nationwide. When she’s not writing headlines, you’ll find her raiding the HomeGoods store for her next interior decorating project. A hobby? An obsession? No one really knows, but she's happy either way!

Senior Marketing Manager - Projects

Julie offers 10+ years of marketing experience in project management, real estate and communications for internal and external agencies. She has a degree in Merchandise Marketing from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising which has helped her with managing property branding and collateral projects. Julie has lived in Illinois and California before ultimately calling Arizona home. She enjoys hiking, movies, home improvement projects and spending quality time with her friends.

Senior Marketing Manager - Projects

Ana is a seasoned expert with 10+ years of creative agency project management experience and knowledge in print, digital, and production. In her current role, Ana balances scope of work, budgets, and timelines and ensures every project milestone is met. Additionally, Ana helps to manage corporate process integration - including determining cross-departmental efficiencies to ensure production effectiveness. Ana enjoys being active with her husband and two small children. They love to camp, cheer on their favorite baseball teams (yes teams is plural for a reason - they are a house divided), or expand their knowledge at a local museum.

Dina has 15+ years of experience managing, developing, and implementing marketing programs through strategic planning and promotion. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and is PMBOK® trained to effectively manage projects on-time and within budget. She is an avid gardener (mostly veggies and herbs!), loves to cook, and one of her most favorite things is hosting family gatherings.

Heather has over six years of experience managing creatively oriented projects and is right at home on the Creative Services team. After receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration, she pursued her other passion - process optimization. In fact, efficiency is her favorite vocabulary word! For fun, Heather loves to create weird and sometimes brightly colored illustrations that are inspired by screen printing and comic books. She also loves cozy crafting games like Animal Crossing and Fallout 76.

Todd Usher

Todd Usher

Manager, Public Relations

Todd develops and executes public relations strategies that target a variety of audiences (media, residents, prospects and business). A former newspaper reporter and editor, he has worked in the busiest office for the largest PR agency in the world as well as within in-house communications function – most notably spending the last four years developing and leading the PR strategy for the National Apartment Association (NAA). Todd enjoys coaching his twins’ tee ball team and is an avid open-wheel racing fan.

Michaela manages the proactive development and elevation of brand strategy within new business, marketing, and property management communications. She works cross-functionally with multiple teams to set quality communications outputs for our internal teams, clients, and residents. After receiving her Bachelor's in Business Administration, Michaela learned of her passion for marketing and now offers 10+ years of experience in her field. Her focus is to create a memorable marketing experience that truly resonates with customers through the use of concise, clear, and creative writing. Michaela can often be found hiking up a mountain, baking pastries in the kitchen, or planning her next travel adventure.
